Karina Chen was born in Taiwan and received a Degree in Commercial Design from Taipei Ming Chuan College. From a very young age, she was captivated by the beauty around her, which has greatly influenced her artistic journey. Karina finds inspiration in soft music, interior decorating, and her love for worldly travel.

Her artistic style reflects her devotion to the beauty and harmony of nature. Many of her works feature flowers, pots, plants, animals, and explore the different shades, hues, and contrasts of light and color based on various times of the day, seasons, and sceneries.

After teaching children's art classes in her California studio for 25 years, Karina dedicated the last 10 years to mastering her own creative paintings.
