Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. I am Anton Soldatov (Антон Солдатов), an artist whose inspiring story began in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. From an early age, I was drawn to the expressive power of various artistic media—pencil, brush, or acrylic paints. Since 2012, I have immersed myself in the world of fine arts with purpose and determination, honing my skills and developing my own style, where each brushstroke becomes a genuine dialogue with an imagined realm.
My work vividly combines realism with a gentle touch of impressionism: structure, texture, and the interplay of light convey subtle emotional nuances. The boundless Kazakh steppes and majestic seascapes are my constant source of inspiration, revealing nature’s power alongside its fragility. I am especially fond of painting landscapes, still lifes, and female portraits, striving to capture their inner beauty and depth.
My path to painting was not always straightforward. For a time, I served in a border guard unit, protecting distant frontiers—an experience that taught me discipline and respect for the world around me. However, a true turning point came during my journey to Japan, where I immersed myself in traditional Eastern aesthetics. There, I embraced the concept of the most delicate interplay of light and shade, which became the cornerstone of my work.
Today, I continue to explore new techniques and broaden my artistic horizons, creating canvases where nature, culture, and imagination are woven into a single harmony. I see painting as a way to discover my own essence and hope my artworks will awaken in the viewer a genuine sense of emotion and inspiration.
