Atom Hovhanesyan, born in 1981 in Armenia, is an artist who has lived and worked in the United States. From a young age, he showed great sensitivity and curiosity, qualities that shaped his artistic journey. After a childhood spent between Algeria and Armenia, he emigrated to the United States in 1997 with his family.

Initially self-taught, he developed his ion for painting and drawing, influenced by modern masters such as De Kooning and Kandinsky. Atom perfected his unique style, mixing abstraction, figuration and neo-impressionism. He mainly uses oil on canvas and ballpoint pen on paper, mediums through which he explores deep and emotional themes.

From 2013 to 2017, he continued his artistic training at the National Academy of New York and the Art Students League, under the direction of Michael Grimaldi, Thomas Torak and Dan Thompson. His work is distinguished by a fusion of abstraction and figuration, while drawing inspiration from the theories of Neo-Impressionism. Hovhanesyan created over 250 works before his tragic death in 2018, leaving an artistic legacy marked by sensitivity and technical mastery.
