"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Konstantin Avdeev was born in 1954 in a Siberian village where Russian Germans were under Stalin's commandant's supervision. His parents and relatives were deported to Siberia as Germans, where they had to do forced labor. In the 1960s, Avdeev grew up in the North Caucasus town of Mineralnye Vody. He tried out his artistic talent early on at an art school for children before training at the art college in Stavropol and graduating in 1973 as an art teacher. Working as an art teacher, he soon received extensive commissions from renowned publishers in Moscow for book illustrations and the design of calendars and artistic postcards.
His move with his family to Zittau in the German border triangle in 1999 gave him a larger presentation framework: exhibitions of his works followed in Zittau, Löbau, Görlitz and Dresden. His commitment to the children's villa in Zittau resulted in an image brochure for the town of Zittau, the design of which was largely carried out by children under his professional guidance. In 2010 Avdeev moved, this time to Wiesbaden. Here he followed the call of the association "ErfolgReichLeben e.V.", for which he took over the management of the art school. This is how Avdeev describes his art:
"My work is characterized by a wealth of ideas. It relates to the simplest aspects of life through to excursions into almost abstract depictions of human fate between life and death. Time and again they address our eternal questions about the meaning and purpose of life - serious questions that require appropriate artistic representation. Beyond academic constraints, I have developed my own style, which is based on a fine feeling for the hand movement of the pen, an atmospheric and objective manner of representation, characterized by simple materials and modern digital media, a clear graphic language and an intuitive feeling for a romantic, fairytale-like atmosphere."
It is clear that - in addition to the classic work with brush and paint - he is not closed off to new techniques: the use of modern digital printing techniques offers Konstantin Avdeev not only the opportunity to carefully broaden the representational horizon of his artistic tasks, but also to present his works to a larger audience in a contemporary medium.
