It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Né le 7 décembre 1983, FONTES Benjamin dit "Benarth" vit et crée à Bordeaux. Sensible à l’art dès son plus jeune âge, il développe très tôt un regard contemplatif sur le monde qui l’entoure. Le dessin devient son premier langage et une porte d’entrée vers une exploration artistique sans frontières. Il suit une formation aux Beaux-Arts durant ses quatre années de collège, mais c’est en autodidacte qu’il façonne son identité artistique. Avec la peinture, le dessin, et la photographie, il explore les reliefs de l’existence, interroge les traumatismes et le sens de nos vies à travers des œuvres empreintes d’ésotérisme.
Benarth renoue avec la peinture en 2013, d’abord dans l’intimité, peignant avec pudeur pour lui-même ou en offrant ses œuvres à ses amis. Mais c’est avec la création en 2023 de son duo musical sous le nom de Splendid Cities que cet art reprend pleinement sa place dans son parcours, notamment à travers la création des visuels accompagnant leurs titres musicaux.
L’interdisciplinarité est au cœur de son approche artistique. Musicien, auteur, compositeur et interprète au sein de Splendid Cities, il trouve dans la fusion des arts une manière de donner corps à ses visions. Dans cette quête d’un langage total, l’œuvre de Patti Smith l’influence profondément. Sa manière d’entrelacer poésie, musique et arts visuels résonne avec sa propre exploration du monde et de l’âme humaine. Il perçoit la création comme un espace de connexion, une force qui dée l’individu pour toucher quelque chose de plus vaste. Il imagine que l’art relie, et fait dialoguer les solitudes, ouvrant des chemins entre les êtres. Si l’art est son essence, son autre vocation le mène au de l’humain dans toute sa complexité. Médecin de profession, il observe les profondeurs de l’âme humaine, sa lumière comme ses noirceurs. Cette dualité traverse ses créations, où se mêlent réalité et imaginaire, mystère et introspection.
