Les chimères figurent des assemblages de qualités, parfois contradictoires, chacune dénotée par un élément anatomique renvoyant à l’espèce qui en est le parangon et dont le symbolisme varie évidemment selon les contextes culturels.
Pour que cet agrégat de qualités soit plausible, il faut en outre que la combinaison des éléments qui les dénotent parvienne à donner l’illusion de la vie sous la forme d’un organisme.
Comme l’avait bien compris Léonard de Vinci, dépeindre une telle entité imaginaire exige de lui donner une apparence naturelle. Mon observation obsessionnelle des végétaux se poursuit ici. En portant mon attention sur les formes courbes étonnantes des tiges lors de la croissance de cette variété de fleurs "Les Agapanthes " symbolisant l'Amour ( "agapaô"
signifiant l'amour et "anthos" la fleur), je me suis intéressé à la méthamorphose du bourgeon, jusqu'à la formation de la
fleur pendant de longues semaines pour symboliser l'évolution de la relation amoureuse.
Etudiée à chaque étape de sa croissance, cette plante a aiguisé ma volonté d’introduire une forme de surréalité par l’utilisation du photomontage pour révéler cette mutation qui m'a conduit à créer une forme hybride imaginaire de cette fleur magnifique, illustrant à la foi cette condition métamorphique, mais également l'utilisation de l'imaginaire nous emmenant vers la vision d'une plante chimérique.
Ainsi, par cette recherche esthétique et la vision surréelle créée par le montage photographique, j'invite le spectateur à appréhender une évocation alternative à la perception de notre monde, empli de beauté, de mystère et de poésie à travers ces "Chimères".

After a career of twenty five years as a freelance fashion photographer in Paris and around the world, where he mainly worked for the fashion press, but also advertising for the biggest rs in the business, he specialized for the last ten years for children's fashion. Today, he wishes to refocus on a more personal work and now wishes to confront the public directly by presenting his works in galleries and through exhibitions.
