Dzovig Arnelian is an experimental Lebanese - Armenian artist currently residing in Beirut, Lebanon.
Dzovig has obtained her Masters degree in Plastic Arts from the Lebanese University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture, Furn El Chebbak Lebanon.
She is a bold feminist artist mostly working on themes related to gender roles, women empowerment, patriarchy criticism and so on.
Her artworks include working on various materials and in different mediums like painting, body prints, prints, photography and etc. The most interesting aspect in Dzovig’s body of work is the daring depiction of themes which often shocks the audience with its intimacy and fearlessness. She is highly inspired by bright female artists especially by the works of the young American photographer sca Woodman.
