IVANO PETRUCCI è un artista pittore, scrittore, art performer e insegnante d'arte.
E' diplomato presso l' Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma e da oltre dieci anni ha partecipato a numerose esposizioni e a premi d'arte, oltre che presentato in mostre istituzionali di respiro nazionale e internazionale.
Importante è stata l'esperienza presso ADAH – Abu Dhabi Art Hub nel 2013, negli Emirati Arabi, dove ha svolto una residenza artistica realizzando una delle sue prime produzioni pittoriche.
Elabora una ricerca espressionista basata sui moti dell’anima e sulle dinamiche psicologiche della figuraumana, la quale viene rappresentata come vibrazione sensoriale; ma più di ogni altra cosa si esprime tramitela forza dei colori, attraverso “maschere”, specchi, per così dire, fatti di fattezze affascinanti, suggestive,addirittura imperiture, in cui ci si può riflettere. Manlio Gaddi, Critico D'Arte, sostiene che “la pittura diIvano Petrucci è una continua sorpresa, sia in senso coloristico che in quello dei contenuti; sorpresa perl’impatto dei colori a volte tonali, caldi e diffusi, a volte stridenti e acidi da pittura manierista cherichiamano il Pontormo; sorpresa per la varietà delle tematiche, che se rivelano un interesse per le donneanalogamente possono trattare sentimenti e paure.”
I suoi dipinti sono stati scelti nel 2016 dal regista Roberto Mariotti per il suo ultimo film, "Una vita incambio", per arredare un interno di scena.
Ha partecipato a Fiere d'Arte, quali l' "EuroExpoArt", Vernice Art Fair di Forlì, nel 2016 e la Fiera "Art Beijing" NiJan e Pechino nel medesimo anno.
Recentemente, ha partecipato alla Biennale d'Arte Contemporanea "Messapia" al Centro Storico di Lecce nel 2023 e ha presentato la sua ultima mostra personale dal titolo "Colori in movimento" presso la galleria "Lojelo Art Gallery” di Volterra (PI).
Il suo ultimo progetto di Street Art, dal titolo "Incontri", presentato dal Comune di Manziana, è stato promosso dalla Regione Lazio tramite l'avviso “LazioStreet Art” ed è stato realizzato a Marzo 2021.
Ha elaborato il 20 dicembre 2019 una Art Performance, in collaborazione con l'artista Violetta Carpino e Giada Lo Russo, dal titolo “Esplorazioni, La ricerca dell’Equilibrio tra Corpo Mente Anima”, in occasione del "MACRO REBIRTH DAY, la giornata della Ri-Nascita, con Michelangelo Pistoletto e gli ambasciatori del Terzo Paradiso, presso il MACRO – Museo di Arte Contemporanea, Roma.
Le sue opere sono ora ubicate in collezioni private e pubbliche in Italia e all’estero: Germania, Belgio,Olanda, Spagna, Francia, Emirati Arabi e Cina.
