Sergio Kovalov is an architect, an artist. Born in 1989 in Kiev. Lives and works in Kiev. At the age of 13, he entered the Republican Art School named. T.G. Shevchenko (Kiev). In 2013 graduated fr om the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Architecture. In 2014 ed the team of architects "Arhnamet", which determined further activities in the direction of tactical urbanism. From 2014 to 2018 created a lot of of projects in this format. From among others, it is possible to distinguish the project "enlight / slavutich", created in 2015 as an autonomous open-type office (solar-powered co-working). In 2014-2015, he worked in the company "Atelier Metropolitano" which deals with projects of slum revitalization, favel. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2015, the founder of the project "atelier. Intooutside" wh ere deal with tactical urbanism, projects of public spaces and product design. A participant in a number of collective exhibitions and on May 15, 2018 opened a personal exhibition "cobweb". I'm work with architectural and landscape compositions, focusing on the man-made pattern of the planet, which is geometrized and subject to natural harmony. Fresh impressions or memories of travels are always filled with color and expressive mood. My paintings are visualization of thoughts about architecture, urbanism and humanity as a whole. It is quite likely that someone or something observes life on the planet in the same way that we use microscopes to examine particles, matter and organisms that the human eye cannot see. From a height of hundreds of meters above the ocean level, you can see how human activity leads to permanent changes on Earth. The boundaries of reservoirs and riverbeds are changing, the area of glaciers is decreasing and the area of deserts is increasing, new ones are appearing. And man-made objects continue to develop and expand, being in continuous motion, creating new and new patterns of the human web that gradually weaves.
