The desire to express oneself with the language of art, if it is authentic and not a simple infatuation or superficial desire, is an innate fact. Culture, school, education can refine it but not generate it, it belongs to the particular nature of the subject. For Gheorghita Ouatu this is noticeable very early in her life when as a child she painted with any substance that could become color and on any surface dreaming one day of being able to paint on the air too.

A first element that immediately lends itself to important considerations on her art is the clarity of the compositions. Perceptually the identification of the subject, of the content represented is immediate. In a world like ours, sometimes artificially complicated, the "ease" of exposition, of pictorial representation is something that requires extreme intelligence, sensitivity that is possible only when the how and the what to express have been long matured, studied in the multiplicity of their relationships, penetrated in the spiritual density of their knowledge. It is an art that reveals the solidity of its internal expressive reasons preferring the path of metaphorical pulsation, of subtle and penetrating allusion in a distilled balance between imagination and truth.

The representation of nature becomes wonder, a vibrant atmosphere from which Gheorghita's art draws, with its original personality, expressive tensions of metaphysical roots.

The Gheorghita's art favors, by virtue of particular internal rhythms, a singular sense of space and time that seem to be subtracted from their usual flow or presentation, to take on appearances and dynamisms that refer to the nature of pure thought, to emotion purified of every whim or eccentricity. It is always a new emotion to encounter a work by Gheorghita, one is fascinated and attracted by the vision of what is represented. One immediately realizes that one is in front of an art that transmits to the subconscious an emotion that is difficult to explain in words but certain and tangible.

Gheorghita was born in Tulcea, a charming tourist city crossed by the Danube in the south-east of Romania. Italian by adoption, she has lived in Italy since 2004, a country she considers the mother of art. Gheorghita is self-taught and her art comes from the depths of the subconscious and therefore from an interiority that only artists know how to grasp and express, she easily es from figurative to material, from abstract to surrealism, from metaphysical art to conceptual art, so much so as to give her personality as an artist a stylistic versatility, both in of content and form. Preferring surrealism, her art goes beyond reality, almost prefiguring a world in which technology becomes the master of man's real life in a profound bewilderment and loss of his own human conscience.
