En un mundo que avanza cada vez más rápido, donde las relaciones y la comunicación quedan relegadas a objetos sin alma, Acevedo nos invita, con una amarga ironía, a una profunda reflexión.
La filosofía artística de Héctor Acevedo se centra en la figura humana, en especial la femenina, en los mitos antiguos y en prácticas cotidianas, sin perder ese toque romántico y nostálgico que caracteriza su obra.
