Après avoir vécue en région parisienne, Véronique Huchet réside en Bretagne, dans le Finistère, proche de ses racines.
Ce lieu n’est certainement pas anodin, car on peut retrouver dans ses peintures, l’énergie, les couleurs, la luminosité, la force du mouvement, inhérentes aux gens qui vivent près de l’Océan.
Pour elle, l’acte de peindre, est une balade, un état qui se veut serein et vivant et lorsque tous les outils sont prêts, le premier geste va être déterminant.
Une année en école de préparation pour accéder aux concours d’écoles d’art, puis la vie ……… et l’envie toujours présente !
En 2009, le désir devient réalité, les premières toiles apparaissent. Puis des expositions. Dernièrement dans des chapelles en Bretagne.
Des participations à des stages, aux ateliers d’art de Concarneau (modèle vivant, sculpture) font évoluer son geste.
L’abstrait est un univers magique, intense, libre et exigeant, tout est permis mais pas n’importe comment.
C’est un positionnement qui résume bien son projet de vie.
