John Jairo Isaza es un pintor y dibujante colombiano contemporáneo conocido por su capacidad para observar lo mundano y desvelar el simbolismo en la experiencia humana. La visión creativa de John Jairo Isaza se extiende más allá de lo común, adentrándose en un reino de imágenes que no son realistas figurativas, pero tampoco abstractas, donde los personajes toman protagonismo. Sus sujetos, retratados como, solitarios, contemplativos y, a veces, incluso dramáticos, sirven como conductos para la exploración de la psique humana por parte del artista. A través de sus pinceladas, John Jairo Isaza busca capturar no sólo lo visible, sino también las capas ocultas de emoción y significado que residen dentro de sus personajes y su cotidianidad.

John Jairo Isaza nació en 1976 en Copacabana Antioquia. Estudió Licenciatura en Artes Plásticas en la facultad de Artes de la Universidad De Antioquia. Desde el año 2002, ha participado en numerosas exposiciones, tanto colectivas como individuales. Además de su carrera artística, John Jairo dedicó parte de su vida a la enseñanza en educación secundaria. En 2010, fundó su propio taller escuela, donde sigue creando y enseñando dibujo y pintura. Actualmente, trabaja en un proyecto que explora lo mundano y lo espiritual, investigando la delgada línea entre la vida y la muerte, el ser o aparentar ser, y el dejar de ser.

En su tiempo libre, disfruta de las caminatas por el campo y de tocar la guitarra, una pasión que cultiva con dedicación.
