Tarot "Transformation" card XIII. "
Something in your life needs closure, voluntarily or involuntary. Either way, you will feel a positive transformation begin after the initial path of suffering has ed. Julia Hacker explains "I reinterpret the source imagery, zooming on details of a small fragile plant or flower, thus giving it a visual power just by changing the scale of the relativity of the subject. Though her work is rooted in nature, it is not the origin of the image that she is preoccupied with. The struggle and our perception of the importance that we assign to the surrounding world are what interests Julia. She is expressing it through the paintings, looking for an emotional response the imagery triggers through reinterpretation ."
The artwork is shipped in the tube due to the size. There is a 2" border for stretching on all sides of the work. Stretching could be done in any local framing shop.

Julia Hacker's art and her life are intertwined. She desires to learn how to live in the moment, and to search for awareness. The artist draws inspiration from the immediate world around,  rhythmic changes in nature, close encounters with the vagaries of human emotion. While creating, the artist is thinking about the detached creative destruction in mother nature, knowing that eventually, it will bring to new growth.
