Geometric 24 is an abstraction of the reflections, and shadows of a mirrored cube with one corner sliced off, on the rug on which it sat, in a design store window. There are several versions of this image, limited to 5 prints in each version. In this the main version, the colors have been shifted toward the blue-violet end of the spectrum.

This version is offered as as both a limited edition (see additional entry for this image) of 5 prints, signed, numbered and dated on the reverse, and as an open, unsigned edition (this image). Because this version exists as both a limited edition and as an open edition, the limited edition pricing is significantly less than a limited edition work of the same size for which no open edition prints are offered.

Ken Lerner is a ionate photographic artist, born into a family of renowned photographers. He began taking photos at the age of 6, using a camera given to him by his father. But he was not interested in simply reproducing real life moments. His vision was more subjective and he sought to project an internal reality of that moment.

At the beginning of his career, he almost exclusively created images with multiple exposures. This gave a complex structure to the images and represented a subjective view of the world. In the 2010s, after working in financial product sales, he returned to photography producing only single exposure images. Even though they were less structurally complex, they still represented a subjective view of the world, being almost totally abstract. Ken works extensively with reflective surfaces such as water, glass and metal.

A lover of the beauty of nature, Ken Lerner paints and photographs a lot of landscapes and seascapes. He is interested in presenting different possibilities of representing "nature" and often produces many variations of an image with different colors, shades, contrasts and saturations.
