Valambi Langsoumna, born on 02/20/1999 in Fianga, Chad, is a contemporary painter. Since primary school, he has always been ionate about art, creating portraits and landscapes in pencil. It was in 2015 that he discovered painting, a medium that allows him to express his creativity. After obtaining his baccalaureate, Valambi continued his studies at the University of Maroua in Cameroon where he obtained a degree in visual arts and art history. It was during this period that he turned to contemporary art and found his own artistic path. The artist focuses on the representation of street children, a marginalized population that he wishes to highlight through his works. His vibrant paintings of colors and light dotted with abstract lines testify to the suffering and also the resilience of these young people, often forgotten by society. With this committed theme, he has participated in numerous exhibitions in Chad, Cameroon and even Istanbul, making his work and the cause he defends known. His art is an open window on a complex social reality, inviting the viewer to an empathetic and benevolent look.
