It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. Ονομάζομαι Μαρία Καραγεωργίου είμαι Ελληνίδα ζωγράφος απόφοιτη με τετραετείς σπουδές της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών του College Borgias Fine Art στο Π. Φάληρο και ζω στην Αθήνα. Κατάλαβα πως μου αρέσει να ζωγραφίζω όταν βοηθούσα την κόρη μου στο μάθημα των εικαστικών. Έτσι στην αρχή ασχολήθηκα ερασιτεχνικά, μέχρι που αργότερα η αγάπη αυτή με οδήγησε για τέσσερα χρόνια στη σχολή όπου διδάχτηκα από εξαιρετικούς καθηγητές Ιστορία και Φιλοσοφία της Τέχνης. Έδωσα έμφαση στις τεχνικές και με έμπνευση και φαντασία φιλοτέχνησα έργα, και συνεχίζω να δημιουργώ. Στις εννοιολογικές κυρίως δημιουργίες μου, αφηγούμαι ιστορίες με πλοκή πολλών πραγμάτων και καταστάσεων στην σύγχρονη κοινωνία, αφήνοντας τον θεατή να αναζητήσει το νόημα αυτού που βλέπει. Επιθυμώ τα έργα μου, να αποτελούν τροφή για σκέψη, διάλογο, προβληματισμό....Φιλοτεχνώ επίσης αφηρημένα έργα και πορτραίτα, έχω ασχοληθεί με εγκαταστάσεις και φωτογραφία. Για εμένα η ζωγραφική είναι διέξοδος, είναι ένα δυνατό όπλο - μια δημιουργική έκφραση που χρησιμοποιώ και " καταθέτω" αποτυπώνοντας τα συναισθήματά μου- τους προβληματισμούς - τις αντιρρήσεις μου, τις πεποιθήσεις μου απέναντι στα "πράγματα".... τα θέλω μου. Είναι ταξίδι στη ζωή...Σπουδαίοι καλλιτέχνες που μου έδωσαν έμπνευση και με έχουν επηρεάσει είναι πολλοί, αναφέρω κάποιους ενδεικτικά, Ρενέ Μαγκρίτ - Φρίντα Κάλο - χουάν Μιρό, Πάμπλο Πικάσο - Ζαν Μισέλ Μπασκιά, ο Αλέξης Ακριθάκης - Γιάννης Μόραλης- Νίκος Εγγονόπουλος και πολλοί άλλοι. Κατά τον Theodor Adorno, μεταξύ άλλων στις απόψεις του στην θεωρία της Τέχνης αναφέρει πως η Τέχνη είναι πράξη κριτική και απελευθερωτική, για αυτό στην εξέλιξή της " σπάει" συνέχεια τα δεσμά της. Επιζεί όπου αυτοαναιρείται, εκεί που γίνεται σουρεαλιστική και ατονική, αλλιώς "πεθαίνει". Έχω συμμετάσχει σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις, έργα μου έχουν δημοσιευτεί
