Mathieu Rapp est un artiste, naturaliste, diplômé en entomologie, spécialiste des Diptères( "Les mouches"). Sa ion pour l'art et le voyage, l'a conduit à illustrer plusieurs ouvrages scientifiques dans différents pays. Certains de ses dessins illustrent même des timbres des terres australes et antarctiques françaises. Souvent inspiré par la nature ses créations artistiques sont très variées : allant du carnet de voyage à la sculpture métallique monumentale, en ant par la peinture acrylique abstraite, le dessin hyperréaliste à l'encre de chine et la sculpture sur bois et sur pierre. Depuis sept ans environ, Mathieu rapp s'est spécialisé dans les sculptures en métaux recyclés (soudure à l'arc). Venez le découvrir travailler en live (performance artistique) tout au long de l'automne sur les différents festivals de soudure suivant: "Art récup" à Veyrac près de Limoges (fin Août), "Les soud'art" à Parthenay (Septembre), "Les soudeurs du soir" à Lamballe (Octobre)
