MrKas is a contemporary Portuguese artist born in Porto, Portugal, in 1980. His ion for art was ignited at a young age, influenced profoundly by his father, who was also a painter. This early exposure to art left a lasting impact on him throughout his childhood.
In 1999, MrKas began his artistic journey by painting graffiti in the streets of Porto. His street art laid the foundation for his evolving style and technique. In 2010, he moved to Spain, and over the following years, he lived between Belgium and the United Kingdom.
MrKas's work has since transcended the streets, featuring in murals, canvases, museums, and exhibitions worldwide. His primary inspiration comes from people. He enjoys deconstructing images and transforming them into unique pieces, incorporating 3D effects, abstract patterns, and anamorphic shapes, all executed with a photorealistic technique.
