Σύντομο Βιογραφικό Σημείωμα
Η γλυπτική του ξύλου δεν είναι για μένα απλώς μια καλλιτεχνική πρακτική· είναι ένας τρόπος ύπαρξης, ένα μέσο επικοινωνίας που ξεπερνά τις λέξεις και αγγίζει τις βαθύτερες πτυχές της ανθρώπινης ψυχής. Από το 2013, με αφοσίωση και εσωτερική ανάγκη, σμιλεύω το ξύλο αναζητώντας τη γλώσσα εκείνη που δεν περιορίζεται από το λογικό, αλλά ρέει ελεύθερα, μεταφέροντας συναισθήματα, μνήμες και βιώματα.
Το ξύλο είναι ένας ζωντανός οργανισμός με μνήμη και ιστορία. Κάθε χάραξη πάνω του είναι ένας διάλογος μαζί του, μια αποκάλυψη των κρυμμένων του δυνατοτήτων. Με κάθε έργο μου προσπαθώ να αναδείξω την ισορροπία ανάμεσα στην ύλη και το άυλο, να αποτυπώσω την κίνηση της ψυχής μέσα από σχήματα που μιλούν απευθείας στο συναίσθημα του θεατή.
Η διαδικασία της ξυλογλυπτικής με οδηγεί σε ένα ταξίδι πέρα από το προφανές, πέρα από τα όρια της ύλης, προς μια κατάσταση όπου η τέχνη μεταμορφώνεται σε εσωτερική αποκάλυψη. Κάθε μορφή που αναδύεται από το ξύλο είναι μια στιγμή αρμονίας, ένας ψυχικός κραδασμός που ενώνει το παρελθόν με το παρόν, το χειροπιαστό με το αόρατο.
Με κάθε έργο μου αναζητώ τη συνομιλία με τον θεατή. Να νιώσει, να ακούσει τη σιωπή της ύλης, να ανακαλύψει τις δικές του προεκτάσεις μέσα από τις χαράξεις και τις φόρμες. Να αγγίξει αυτό που συχνά παραμένει άρρητο, αλλά πάντα παρόν: την εσωτερική αλήθεια.
