Je suis un ancien étudiants des Beaux Arts.

J'ai débuté mon parcours de formation des Arts plastiques par l'école, très académique, des Beaux-Arts de Beaune (21) en 1979.  Après ces 2 premières années post et pro probatoires,  je poursuis  mon cursus, à l'école supérieure des Beaux-arts  de Clermont Ferrand où j'ai suivi plus particulièrement les cours de sculpture.

L'art est pour moi un vecteur essentiel  pour laisser cours à mon imagination et à ma création. Mais les Arts plastiques ne sont pas l'unique , en effet, dès l'âge de huit ans j'apprends la musique. Je deviens trompettiste, puis avec les années j'étudie la guitare et le violon. En 1999 je deviens chef de Chœur, activité que je poursuis encore aujourd'hui (pour ceux que cela intéresse il suffit de taper sur le net " Chorale Atout Coeur de Baubigny" (21).

La musique et la peinture ont beaucoup de points communs en commençant par le vocabulaire. On parle de gammes chromatiques par exemple dans les deux  domaines. C'est donc, assez naturellement qu'un nombre conséquent de mes peintures de style expressionnisme abstrait soit la traduction picturale de certaines œuvres musicales. Je n'ai jamais souhaité, cependant, être enfermé dans un style pictural spécifique. J'aime expérimenter de nouveaux s et utiliser différentes techniques (acrylique, huile, pastels, dessins...)

Je suis bien conscient que cette approche éclectique, ne correspond pas au standard de l'Art actuel. Mon esprit libre n'a jamais apprécié les catégorisations. Mais, il existe cependant un fil conducteur à l'ensemble de mes réalisations. Je vous laisse le soin, le plaisir j'espère, de le découvrir.

L'Art a toujours été un élément important dans ma vision sociétale et en particulier dans mon ancien exercice professionnel. Après avoir été éducateur spécialisé auprès d'enfants porteurs de handicap je deviens chef de service,  puis la formation au Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers de Paris va me permettre de devenir  Directeur d'Etablissement Médicosocial. A chacune de ces étapes, l'Art a été un vecteur d'intégration, de partage et de communication (souvent non verbale)

Aujourd'hui en retraite, je me consacre pleinement à mes deux ions : les Arts plastiques et la musique
