Glossy finish

About our fine printsPourtant cette peinture ne me convenait pas à la fin. Je n'étais pas satisfaite du résultat. Alors elle est restée attendre pendant deux ans sous un drap. J'ai finalement décidé de revenir sur ce travail en recomposant une nouvelle toile.
"Natsukashii" est synonyme de nostalgie. C'est le fait de se remémorer un fait é qui nous captive.
J'ai ainsi repris une nouvelle image de Tokyo, pour faire vivre une seconde fois cette peinture, et ce souvenir. Natsukashii, c'est aussi se remémorer une certaine émotion. Et bien que sa traduction nous ramène au terme de "nostalgie", cette émotion ne comprends aucuns regrets.
La réalisation de cette toile m'a demandé un mois de travail.

Solveig Sauvage was born in 1997 in Brest. She is an artist and illustrator based in Strasbourg.
She works mainly with gouache, on different s. Her paintings have already been exhibited in and Japan. Today, she works on various projects in order to share her creations with as many people as possible.
Solveig explores the links between nature and man, and sometimes the imbalances that can manifest themselves in this relationship. She wishes to represent nature as a living actor, and celebrate all forms of life that are indispensable to the world.
Influenced by her travels in Japan and the discovery of Shinto shrines, her creations are inspired by the values of this spirituality. Each scene of life, landscape, evokes the memory of feelings that are common to us. Fascinated by the animation and stories that are created in the city, she also paints the urban.
