Self-taught and ionate about the sea, boats and seafarers, I started painting gouaches of sailing fishing boats in the 80s in the spirit of Paul - Emile Pajot. Then I approached the technique - a little intimidating for the beginner - of watercolor but so well adapted to marine scenes!.
