The power of a tree growing on sandstone. On my hikes in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, I particularly like the remote places where old trees meet sandstone. It seems to me that wood and sandstone form a very special bond with each other. Over a long period of time, a tree grows on the hard rock and finds its way into the soil.

In the Affensteine area there is such a place. When walking on the Upper Terrace Trail, only a narrow path winds its way between the rocks and the steep precipice. Nevertheless, there are some trees that have found a foothold here. Their branched, powerful tree roots are partly above the ground and are clearly visible.

In my opinion, the beauty of nature often reveals itself in details that seem inconspicuous at first glance and have a very special magic at second glance. Structures that bear witness to the growth of a tree fascinate me very much. But I also like to incorporate the eroded surface of sandstone into my photos.

I am inspired by the beauty of old trees, their strong roots and enchanting structures of the wood. In my opinion, trees stand as symbols for the traces of time, for strength and the cycle of life in nature.

Trees and their strong roots, animals, mountain landscapes, the Mediterranean Sea and abstract reflections are among my favorite topics. I would like to share my impressions with you and bring the enchantment of nature into your home.

My creative activities are dedicated to nature photography in Alicante province (Spain) and Saxony (), as well as drawing and watercolour painting. Long hikes in the mountains, through forests and along the Mediterranean coast inspire me a lot. When I am out in nature and let my gaze wander over the vast landscape, the clocks seem to tick a little slower. For this reason, thoughts about time and change also influence my work.

There is so much beauty around us every day. It depends on us whether we see it. In my opinion, drawing and photography are wonderful ways to capture impressions and the magic of the moment. With my pictures and the stories surrounding them, I would like to inspire and motivate people to spend more time in nature and to experience it consciously with all their senses.

I was born in . A few years ago I decided to emigrate to Spain. With the selection of photos and graphics shown here, I would like to express both my love for nature and my ion for photography and art. I am currently living on the Costa Blanca, where I´m surrounded by a beautiful coastal scenery, impressive rock formations and bright sunlight.
